The Liverpool Sports Park project included the importation of 250,000m³ of soil to develop a 9 hole Par 3 golf course where each hole was a broad copy of a world famous hole:

Pinehurst 17th, Troon 8th “Postage Stamp”, Royal Porthcawl 7th, St Andrews 11th High In”, Sawgrass 17th “Island Green”, St Annes 9th, Royal Liverpool 11th “The Alps”, Augusta 12th “Golden Bell” and Riviera 6th.

Greens were built to a USGA type specification with Irrigation to the greens, approaches and tees.
