Our approach not only supports environmental responsibility, but also helps clubs reduce long-term
operational costs whilst working towards wider sustainability and net zero objectives.

OTB ’s approach to Sustainability…
The material used to create new landscape features has been recovered from construction sites within the local area reusing material that would otherwise go to traditional landfill and reducing transportation costs is one major element of our approach to sustainability.
All our projects feature extensive planting schemes to help encourage biodiversity and habitat development, as well as traditional planting this can include the creation of wetland areas and pond habitats.
Water Harvesting
An integral part of the design of any scheme is the ability to direct water away from in Play areas and to store it in purpose-built lagoons where it can be reused to supplement Irrigation requirements. Traditionally the cost of installing such facilities has been prohibitive but with the OTB Soil Importation method this is a zero cost to the Club and huge cost saving benefit as well as adding to your own sustainability and Net zero targets.
Solar Power
A relatively simple solution to generating additional power is the installation of solar panels on the roof of a clubhouse but also the roof of a driving range structure. In addition we have looked at creating solar farm facilities that would generate enough electricity to satisfy the clubs requirements and to sell on to the grid.
